Diagnóstico da formação e atuação de gestores da escola pública do Munícipio de Aracaju

Abstract

Esta dissertação tem como finalidade abordar a importância atribuída ao estudo da Gestão Escolar, fazendo um diagnóstico da formação e atuação de gestores da escola pública do município de Aracaju, com o objetivo de compreender as condições da formação de profissionais responsáveis pela gestão educacional das escolas públicas, ligados à Rede Municipal de Aracaju. Justifica-se por ser esta uma tarefa que demanda competência técnica, pois a escola como uma organização pública, exige uma gestão baseada nos princípios da gestão participativa, que requer conhecimentos administrativos e pedagógicos que, muitas vezes, não são trabalhados na formação inicial, ocorrendo igualmente um déficit destes conhecimentos na formação continuada dos gestores, o que não deveria ocorrer. Sem capacitação e formação necessária para dinamizar e gerenciar as atividades, recursos e projetos no âmbito educacional, o gestor desempenha frequentemente de forma pouco eficiente a função para o qual foi designado, o que se reflete na organização administrativa e pedagógica da escola. A pesquisa de campo, baseada numa abordagem mista de caráter qualitativo e quantitativo, consistirá no levantamento e análise de informações a respeito da atuação e formação inicial e continuada dos gestores escolares.

This paper aims to address the importance given to the study of School Management, making a diagnosis of the development and performance of managers of public schools in the municipality of Aracaju, in order to understand the conditions of the training of professionals responsible for educational management of public schools , linked to the Municipal Network of Aracaju. Is justified because this is a task that requires expertise, because the school as a public organization, requires management based on the principles of participatory management, which requires administrative and teaching skills that often are not worked in initial formation, occurring also a deficit of this knowledge in the continuing education of managers, which should not occur. Without training and education needed to streamline and manage the activities, resources and projects in the educational field, the manager often plays inefficiently the function for which it was designed, which is reflected in the administrative and pedagogical organization of the school. The field research based on a mixed approach of qualitative and quantitative, will consist of the collection and analysis of information regarding the performance and initial and continuing the school managers.
